ART CARAVAN

Concept

People live their lives surrounded by their daily life. The Art Caravan aims at intervening through contemporary art into the daily life
of the people. Contemporary art wants to initiate both confrontation and communication.
The art work is not something that can be bought, sold or consumed. The artist is present and in process together with the audience in their daily life and environment. Therefore the audience and the artist share the responsibility of creating the art work.
The Caravan is a travelling project and therefore marks its presence
in a geographical aspect as well as a mental, political and
aesthetic aspect.
