MID WINTER LIGHT

A short, comissioned piece performed by SU-EN at a conference in Uppsala, November 2005.

The piece was inspired by the myth of the Snow Woman, Yuki Onna in Japan. Everything that she touches is turned into ice. At the darkest time, a thin beam of light can make a big difference. The costume symbolises the world covered in snow and ice.
