This live action was part of the exhibition EARTHLY POWERS at Uppsala Art Museum in which SU-EN presented the video work titled VORACIOUS. The exhibition took place Oct 28-Nov 29, 2015 and MEAT remix Nov 25 at Uppsala Castle.

Idea and body: SU-EN

SU-EN embodies her relationship to the painting The Butcher’s Shop. It is a vegetarian-feministic reaction to the motive of the painting. At the same time there is a strong feeling of connection to the flesh on the picture. A delight to be just a body and a piece of meat. A joy of knowing that my flesh can be food for someone else.
Inspiration also comes from the book The Sexual Politics of Meat av Carol J. Adams.
